NOLA

In New Orleans to cover the Hornets-Spurs games.
Got off the plane, and was greeted by "The Original Pin Stripe" brass and jazz band in the baggage claim:

Then...I went to eat at Mother's Restaurant, home of the "World's Best Baked Ham."

These guys work at Mother's. They were on break outside the restaurant and were happy to pose for a "candid" photo.
Good thing I didn't see Helen.
I had the Ferdi Special. It's a roast beef po-boy, topped with the afore mentioned ham. I added a side of red beans and rice to boot. Yum.
After lunch (or was it dinner?) I wandered around French Quarter.
